Teaching/mentoring experiences
Art in the Garden eco-printing classes in the garden at my home studio (2018)
Created the grant for and coordinated creative work with four racial/cultural groups (Ethiopian, Hmong, Latino, and Somali). Curated the culminating textile exhibition, Stories in Cloth, at The Textile Center of Minnesota (2006)
Entrepreneurial experiences
Owned a marketing communications firm, Creative Associations. Wrote, designed, photographed and/or art directed, and managed production of print materials, slide shows, videos, and training materials for for-profit corporations including Honeywell, Dayton’s, Ecolabs, and Target and nonprofits including Minneapolis Community College (1980 – 1990)
Created, designed, and edited The Smile Factory a weekly, full-page insert written and illustrated by children for children (with Joan Radosevich) that ran in the morning edition of the Minneapolis newspaper, the Star (1976 - 1978)

Women’s Art Registry (WARM) mentorship with Karen Searle. 2-year program culminating with a group exhibition at the Soap Factory. Focused my work on translating my photo images into cyanotypes (1994 – 1995)
